Key Indicators
  • Improved sales year on year.
  • Competitive pricing and packaging essential.
  • Demand for land remains strong.
Market Overview

The activity in Quarter 1 this year has seen a marked improvement on the same period last year. Foot traffic, units sold and prices achieved have all been encouraging.

However, sales are not easy. The buying public has more information than ever before through the web and other sources and correct pricing and or packaging remains essential. Urgency has to be created by a marketing plan as it does not exist in the market place generally. Attention to detail, both at the design stage and throughout marketing of the development also remains paramount to success.

With the outlook on interest rates to remain stable and good quality prospective buyers visiting the sites the improved level of new homes sales looks set to continue.

The supply of Land cannot satisfy the very strong demand which is reflected in good achieved prices. Timing on planning remains frustratingly unpredictable and the threat of further taxation, in one form or another, is resulting in landowners considering bringing forward their plans to sell.
